The ABB CA5-01 Auxiliary Contact Block is a 1-pole accessory designed for front mounting on compatible ABB contactors and contactor relays. It provides one normally closed (1NC), instantaneous auxiliary contact with screw terminals for connecting control and signalling circuits. This additional contact can be used in suitable control arrangements for status indication, interlocking and switching logic.

The CA5-01 is intended for standard industrial environments and supports 50/60 Hz auxiliary circuits. Its rated insulation voltage is 690 V according to IEC standards and 600 V according to UL/CSA. The AC-15 operational current rating varies by voltage: 6 A at 24/127 V, 4 A at 220/240 V, 3 A at 380/440 V, and 2 A at 500/690 V. It is an auxiliary control accessory and is not intended to switch the main load.
