The ABB UA95-30-11-80 Capacitor Duty Contactor is designed for reliable switching of three-phase capacitor banks in power factor correction applications. Its control coil is rated at 220–230V AC for 50Hz and 230–240V AC for 60Hz. Check the control supply voltage before selecting the contactor for your panel.

The unit has three main normally open poles for switching the capacitor circuit, along with 1NO + 1NC auxiliary contacts for control logic and status indication. The UA95 capacitor-duty design accommodates high inrush current, with a permissible peak current up to 30 times the nominal RMS current. Its AC-6b rating is 65 kVAr at 400/415V and 40°C.

With a conventional free-air thermal current of 145A at 40°C and cable-clamp terminals, this contactor is suitable for industrial APFC panels and capacitor-bank assemblies. Select it according to the required coil voltage, capacitor-bank rating and operating conditions.
