The ABB UA110-30-11-80 Capacitor Duty Contactor is designed for switching three-phase capacitor banks in industrial power factor correction systems. Its control coil is rated at 220–230V AC for 50Hz and 230–240V AC for 60Hz. Verify the control supply voltage before selecting the contactor for your panel.

The contactor has three main normally open poles for switching the capacitor circuit, along with 1NO + 1NC auxiliary contacts for control and status signalling. Its AC-6b operational power rating is 75 kVAr at 400/415V and 40°C; the listed ratings are 70 kVAr at 55°C and 65 kVAr at 70°C. The conventional free-air thermal current is 160A at 40°C. The UA110 capacitor-duty series is designed for capacitor switching and permits peak current up to 30 times the nominal RMS current.

This contactor is suitable for APFC panels, capacitor-bank assemblies and industrial electrical distribution systems. Select it according to the coil voltage, capacitor-bank rating and operating conditions.
