The ABB CAL16-11A is a two-pole auxiliary contact block designed for compatible ABB EK contactors. It mounts on the left side of the contactor and provides one normally open (1NO) and one normally closed (1NC) instantaneous contact. These auxiliary contacts can be used in control, signalling, status indication and interlocking circuits.

The block features screw-type terminals for connecting control-circuit wiring. Its key ratings include a conventional free-air thermal current (Ith) of 16 A at 40°C and a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 690 V.
